A design for entertaining in Kensington

This small garden in Barnes needed to work its socks off. A large garden room, minimalist glass house, vegetable beds and space for games and dining. Each area of the garden needs to play a part within this design. The boundaries have linear panels running down both sides with clipped rectangular Yew blocks. Along the granite path are intervals of space with granite plinths for tall statement urns with a backdrop of cedar. Lines of Thyme run through the path to soften the paving and add wafts of aroma as you step.
